Desktop videoconferencing

Desktop videoconferencing is a dynamic, convenient and flexible alternative to booking an enabeld venue whereby you can host quick, online meetings from your working environment using software installed to your computer or mobile device.

There are a number of desktop videoconferencing software solutions available that can be used on campus including Zoom and Microsoft Teams.  If you wish to use other products you may need software installing on your computer in advance; please contact the IT Service Desk if this is the case.

Please note that you will require a webcam (if your device doesn't have one) and, for optimal audio quality, especially when in an open-plan working environment we do recommend the use of a headset.
