For best quality video and audio experience we recommend using both a webcam and headset (with built in microphone) when you are videoconferencing from your personal device.
Purchasing peripherals
Minor IT equipment, to support remote working, can be purchased quickly and easily by completing the NUIT Peripheral Request form, this includes standard webcams and headsets, that will work adequately with both Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
Should you require a different make/model of webcam or headset form those listed on the Peripheral Request form then you would need to first obtain approval from your Head of Unit that it is 'business critical' to purchase non-standard peripherals.
